The Adeptus Arbites are the galaxy-spanning police force .. Codex: Space Marines and Imperial Guard may be necessary to use this armylist. This is a massive, home-brew codex for the Adeptus Arbites for the 5th Edition of Warhammer 40, It includes rules for fielding an entire army of Adeptus. It took a little while, as I wanted to adapt both to the new 7th Edition rules as well as the new 7th Edition Codex Format, but I have now finished.

Codex Adeptus Arbites for 7th Edition – updated 04/02/ – Forum – DakkaDakka
You should still be able to squeeze most of the different Qdeptus into a single Precinct Task Force if you want. The biggest problem I’m having is which Codex to use to run as “counts as” Arbites, as I’d like to run it as a Battle-Forged army rather than an Unbound army.
The Adeptus Arbites date from at least arbitee Great Crusadewhen compliant worlds had Lord Marshal ‘s Offices installed to deal with ‘non-local’ matters.
I use the castellans of the imperium detachment. Life is literally to the Arbites the Emperor’s currency.
I think I’ve struck a happy balance between the two, and Coddx really like where the rules are sitting right now. FNP might actually let him survive a bit. Maybe count as SM scouts? Squad Up to five additional Arbitrators armed with Arbites Shotguns may be added for 8 points adepts. The way it looks now, here’s what my army list options are, with respect to the Castellans of the Imperium Detachment: I’ve only had a chance to quickly skim through for changes so far, I’ll try to give more feedback later.
I actually recommend a stormbolter for a counts-as shotgun. It has to be, due to the varied nature of the Imperium and its myriad of different people at large. Adeptua could also be used. Thanks so much for the hard work!
Suppressive and Maul Drill likewise seem to add more complication than they’re worth. Registering gives you full access to take part in discussions, upload pictures, contact other members and aceptus everything!
It’s fluffy, but given the range of a Webber, it won’t actually make much difference if you’re trying to stop a unit charging you. And you have no gimmicks of your own to exploit. I’m sure it’ll all raise a few eyebrow, but the way Iook at it is -its my own creation, and I can still use it in games of 40k.

I especially love the “commissar in a collar” aspect of blowing one up to improve morale. I agree that it’s far more fun being creative arbitee sticking strictly to what Adsptus give you in the box and I think that’s true of all aspects of the hobby. The Arbites are like the FBI and Interpol of the 40K universe, they take on the cases with interplanetary criminals or crimes against the Imperial laws instead just the local planetary laws.
I think the addition of the odd formation, warlord dodex and objectives to bring it in line with 7th Edition is great, but one of the nice thing about 6th and 7th is their tendency to streamline things and make things that are complex, simple. Navigation Main page Recent changes Random page Help.
Ads by Project Wonderful! It’s one purely designed for fun and as a throw back to the older days of 40k. With multiple detachments and especially the new Precinct Task Force Detachment, such rules are no longer really necessary. I generally try to stick to current GW conventions when I put my books out. Squad Up to five additional Arbitrators armed with Boltguns may be added for 8 points each. I’m wary of taking both in the same code because I’d have adepyus differentiate between my “Veteran” Arbites squads and my “Tempesus Scions” Arbites squads when they are modelled with the same weapon but I can’t decide which of the two I prefer.
Aribtrators held in reserve coddex also move forward with fresh supplies and to fill gaps in the forward task teams. But they aren’t just any ol’ cops, they are badass motherfuckersthink of a combo of RoboCop and Judge Dredd.
Hence the need for some homebrew adaptation.

In Fifth Edition the best way to represent them remained the Witch Hunter army, until it was rewritten as Codex: Keeping him as a lone-wolf character just feels right to me, and certainly easier on my rules-writing sensibilities.
Good stuff, I’ll have to read through the rest of your ‘dex. Could make them assault too, but arbihes not necessary as if they hit the opponent is pinned anyway.
