For many bands the EV wedges passive could work but for some they would not be enough. The box was a lot louder and clearer in bi-amp mode, and I was able to get a lot more gain before feedback. As Adam mentioned the QRX will supply plenty of Lowmid gas, and the will be IMO sonicly alot better than a dual 12″ and eb will throw further too. I found out the hard way that peavey wasn’t rider acceptible. Over time I have helped several people that were just trying to break in doing nationals and a couple of them with the same exact wedges you have. I really don’t think it was the EQ issue either. I am doing bottom feeder nationals so i don’t know what they expect in a ‘x’ room.
